Old Man Mike - Quite Contrary

The first time i listened to OMM, I thought it was bad. Nothing had to to with what i was taught about music. Then I went back to his site and listened more, and the next day, and the following days of the next week... "Wait Myr, if you don't like it, why are you still coming here?" And i thought about it. Music is done to be enjoyed, and experimentation can bring you places where you don't want to be, but it can also bring you where OMM is, pure genuine art.

Talking about those other types of experimentation where everything seems to go wrong and fails. I studied music and I could do that easily, but I cannot do what Mike does.

That doesn't only happen to me, if I play random things at home, even commercial artists, some friends don't recognise them, but the first note of his guitar and everyone is already smiling.

OMM has been places unknown to most of all, and his album takes us there with him

Quite Contrary is a record to listen and to form cult around, cause you cannot find too many people that achieves going out the usual way.

Experimentation can be in the right path if you are genuine, charismatic and make it enjoyable.
